Children of the Antichrist

Without going into details of quoting scriptures that most of us know by heart let me just refer you to Matthew 6 and Jesus answering questions about the end-times. In the end-times men will become lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God. That is a bold statement our Saviour spoke that day. He would also go on to describe the anti christ and what he would do. Now this is the scary part. The word christ translates to "saviour". Think about what has been going on the past few years.
We now have elected officials who got into office with the promises that they (or he, as the case may be) are the only ones who can save us from our troubles. We were promised "Salvation" from the demons in office before them. All of the people who continue to believe and worship those who preach this lie are the children of the anti-christ. They may not be willing participants in his plan, but they do have one common factor joining them together. They are lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God. They constantly think about what they can get from the Government as a hand out or freebie, rather than do what is best for themselves and God. I
This is not to say that our elected officials are the anti-christ. It does say that they are his followers, or children. By extension, all those who follow these leaders are also children of the anti-christ.
Let us look at some of the current events in the world around us at this time. The E.U. is on shaky ground and the euro (the european monetary system) is falling to pieces. Countries like Greece, Spain, France, and Great Britian are in dire economic times due, in large part, to decisions made only a few years back. It won't be too long before the United States falls into the same hard times as Europe. The government has adopted the same policies that have all but bankrupted most of Europe and is agressively trying to make this country like them. It has taken just 50 years to turn this country from a God fearing country of the majority to one that is controlled by the minority of it's population. This all started when God and prayer were no longer allowed in our schools. Man's wisdom soon replaced God's word and the indoctrination into our present mindset began.
One of the first things that man's wisdom noticed was that as young women graduated from High School, they were getting pregnant. Their solution was to teach sex education to the Juniors and Seniors to stop this growing problem. It didn't take long for the students to start getting pregnant in High School. The solution? Start teaching them at a younger and younger age. Now, it is common for 11 and 12 year olds to be sexually active. Just visit the maternity ward at any hospital and see how many 12 year old mothers there are, in the course of just one week. Their solution today is to start sex education as young as pre-k or kindergarten. Not only that, the children are being tought the try it, you might like it method, including gay relationships.
Where is God's word in all of this. Where are the moral standards that were taught to the children from a young age by their parents. Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot. Moral upbringing often times requires correction (punishment). That used to include a good, old fashioned spanking. Today, however, if you spank your child, you are guilty of assault and subject to a fine, jail, and the removal of your child, to the custody of the state.
I do have a solution to all of these problems. It isn't hard, but it does require a complete change of mind in some of the people of this country. The answer is a revival, a growing closer to the Lord. A renewal of the spirit in each and every one of us. If we do not return to our faith in the Most High, then we will most assuredly turn to faith in the most low.
